MAC Gareth Pugh Look

For this look I mixed the Gareth Pugh
Cream Shadows with Inglot Eye Shadows.
I love the texture and quality of the cream shadows, only thing that I found difficult was building up the color while blending it in to the crease. Once the Inglot shadows were mixed in, it made it easier to work with. Overall, I think the cream shadows are a great product but I probably wouldn't spend $32 just because its limited edition.

MAC Iris Apfel Matte Lipsticks

Happy New Year Everyone!

It's been awhile since my last post, so I'm going to make it short & sweet.
Just wanted to share swatches for the new
Iris Apfel Lipstick collection from MAC.

First off, quality is NEVER an issue with MAC lipsticks (at least in my experience). Secondly, the color pay off is so intense! I'm afraid to wear it.... lol okay may not but the color is unbelievable! I'm a HUGE fan of matte lipsticks and these are definitely going in my top 10!

From Left to Right: Pink Pigeon, Scarlet Ibis & Party Parrot

Pink Pigeon: Bight Cleanest Pink

Not shown in this collection is Flamingo (Lustre)
 and Morange (Amplified Creme).
Morange is a permanent color.

I'm currently working on a look to go with one
of these gorgeous lipsticks so stay tuned! :)

The Rusty Octopus

I did a look based on this awesome bow that my friend Zombrie made. She makes a variety of custom made accessories from earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, bows etc., you name it shes got it! :) My favorite was this glittery golden bow with an antique/rusty looking octopus. What caught my attention was how the color blends in so perfectly with the sea foam green color. Below is the look I came up with.

For the Look I used:
Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Base: MAC Paint Pot- Delft
Eye Shadow Base: Inglot 17
Outer Crease: True Blood Palette - Bayou
Deep Crease - True Blood Palette - Werewolf
Inner Tear Duct: The Light

Eyeliner: MAC Penultimate Liner - Rapid Black
Waterline: MAC Chromographic Pencil - NC15/NW20
Lower Lash Line: Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Baked & Underground
Mascara: L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Mascara
Cheeks: Hoola Bronzing Powder from Benefit
Lips: MAC Summer Shower Lipstick (Fashion Flower Collection)
